When the Birds Attack
As we know I have been trying to explore Detroit's wonders.
Today I decided to head to the Renaissance Center to enjoy the marvelous view of the Detroit River.
However... there is this BIRD that keeps flying over my darn computer.. PAUSE.. Why is there a bird in the Starbucks?
Second PAUSE.. and everyone is ignoring him but me.. Can I call security to escort the bird for disturbing my peace??!!
Shakes her head..
Enjoy your weekend darlings

Lights, Camera.. Breathe....
Act I:
Detroit.. a mixture of old and new ideas... a city of undying pride and courage.. my hometown...
I am starting to appreciate the time I have in the city of Detroit.
My art taste buds have reappeared and my heart is open.
The 1st time in a long time I can breathe and relax. Although, I "was" not one who welcome change openly.
Detroit is melting *pun intended* ice around my creative juices and awakening such life inside of myself.
Act II:
I have been exploring Detroit's Midtown!
It's a great area! It's very simliar to my previous hang spots in O-T-R in Cincinnati and Cabbage Town in Atlanta. Artsy..Underground..Grassroots comes to mind.
Some of my favorite spots are:
**Cass Cafe
**Source BookStore
*Avalon International Breads
**Goodwell Natural Foods
** Traffic Jam

Stop the Maddness
Well as usual. I am back from my disappearing act.
Updates:
I am back in the Midwest, where it is snowy and cold. I am having a time learning how to drive on black ice.
My journey from Georgia, 12 hour drive, was amazing. I enjoyed viewing all of Mother Nature as I drove back to my stomping grounds.
Last, but certainly not least... I am discovered that I am *wait for it*... a nurtuter... *tunes in the dark music*..
Over the last year, I have been constantly taking on others issues. I have NOT been present for myself and the things I enjoy.
My commitment (and very PUBLIC commitment) to myself is to make LIFE happen for me. I know that LIFE is very RICH and full of complications but I will enjoy every moment. I can not attempt to make anyone else happy OR resolve their issues.
With this in mind my dear friends,
Be kind to yourself this holiday season.

Fantasia's Back to Me Review.. Late Review
Oweee..
I want to express how much I adore this album. Fanni has been through some issues! I applaud her using her creativity to release some tension. She's experienced some growing pains. *I wouldn't give a opinion on her personal life*
Women from all different types of backgrounds understand heartache and love's woes.. :( Sadly, we don't uplift one another during this period of growth. I think the album was a mixture of desiring love and learning from mistakes.. learning how to take care of self.. maturity.
I love how she has growing in her vocal skills.
I enjoyed the album a lot..
What are your thoughts on Fantasia's new style and cd?
**I hope Fanni is doing better and I look forward to her concert!
